Our Summer Reading Game encourages kids to read for fun and keeps them entertained and engaged with a variety of activities during July and August. Going on vacation? Don’t worry—kids can take books with them and get back in the game when they return!

The program, which runs from June 24th to August 16th, is open to kids of all ages, including pre-schoolers and teens. The kick-off is on June 24th, but kids can join anytime so stop by the library to sign up. If you are going into 5th grade or above, you can also sign-up to be a Book Buddy.

The game is simple. Once you sign-up, visit the Children’s Room every week to talk about the book or books you’re reading and get a prize!
