A Universe of Stories Theatre Performance

Universe of Stories theatre performance at the Croton Free Library for grades 6-12! The theme for the 2019 Summer Reading program in New York State is “Universe of Stories”. Come to the Library and share your stories. We will jointly develop a theatre piece to perform from the stories that we share. Registration Required. Contact Catherine Riedel for more information.

Grades 9-12: Mondays, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Mother-Daughter Book Club

It will be a time of bonding and interesting discussions on great works of young adult literature led by Youth Services Librarian, Catherine Riedel. The club will meet monthly and there will be snacks! The target age group of the daughters is 10-14 years of age.

Spine Crackers Book Club

Join us for the Spine Crackers Book Club! An Interactive Book Club Snacks, Fun, and books; for boys grades 3 & 4.

Croton Free Library Chess Club

Come and join our weekly chess club. Learn strategies, techniques and play games. Taught by Kenaya Massaline. All ages and all levels of experience welcome.

Homework Help (for Grades 3-6)

Drop into the Croton Free Library on Wednesdays for homework help, run by local high school students who want to help younger friends. These 90-minutes sessions will take place in the small program room.

Teen Advisory Board

If you have something to say about programs, services and the Young Adult book collection at the Croton Free Library, then you want to be on the Teen Advisory Board (TAB). TAB meets the first Friday of each month in the Creative Space.
First Friday of the month @ 3:15 p.m.

Dungeons and Dragons at the Library

Come to learn about the game, develop characters, and start a campaign. Taught by experienced Dungeon Master, Joe Riedel, in the Creative Space. For 9th grade and up.
