For anyone in grades 5-12.
Potential babysitters build essential skills for responsible childcare through this three-hour course.
Amanda Tucker Lisk, a first-grade teacher, gives hands-on instruction on several topics, including: interviewing and communication tips; ages/stages of young babies and toddlers; safety and first-aid; feeding and caring for children (including diaper changing).
She will administer a simple test at the completion of the course and distribute certificates. Bring paper and pen – and your lunch!
