How to Participate
Our annual Summer Reading Program is a fun way to engage with the Library and read more over the summer!
When: June 22 to August 26, 2024.
Where: Online or on paper.
Who: Any Croton resident of any age.
How: Just track the number of minutes you read!
Check out ReadSquared to track your minutes online!
Or download our paper tracker, print it, and fill it out.
Enrolling
Sign up now, and start tracking your reading!
1. Sign up here! You can log your reading, find book lists, write reviews, and more. ReadSquared even has an app.
OR
2. Email us at SummerReading@crotonfreelibrary.org. Tell us the names and ages of each participant.
Sign up now! Just track the number of minutes you and/or your kids read, using the ReadSquared site or app, or a paper tracker.
To finish the program and get your prize, you need:
- Pre-K (0-4): 240 minutes of reading
- Kids (5-10): 240 minutes of reading
- Tweens & teens (11-17): 360 minutes of reading
- Adults (18+): 480 minutes of reading
We still have a few left for kids and teens/adults behind the circulation desk! Stop by the Library and ask for one, as long as supplies last.
