Each year, the Croton Free Library honors published authors hailing from, working in, and/or writing about Croton-on-Hudson and its neighboring towns and villages.
Stop in, hear short readings, and meet authors in your community! Free and open to all. Readers of all ages are welcome.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. A portion of book sales will benefit the Library.

Their work encompasses a wonderful variety of genres, from thrillers and graphic novels to poetry, long-form journalism, and local history. We can't wait to meet them and hear them read excerpts from their books!
Saturday, April 29, 1-4pm. Short readings begin at 2pm.
This year's slate of authors has already been finalized! Applications for the next celebration will be available in February 2024.
