Celebrate 200 years of Brazilian independence with internationally acclaimed musician Richard Boukas!
In this solo performance, Richard — a guitarist, vocalist, composer and exponent of Brazilian music — will perform contemporary samba, bossa nova, choro, baião and other primary genres. The concert will feature compositions by legendary artist-composers including A.C. Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Luiz Gonzaga, Hermeto Pascoal, and a special tribute to Pixinguinha in honor of his 125th birthday.
Free and open to all! No tickets required.
