Join us for a touring production of Dangerous at Any Age — five plays written, directed, acted, and produced by people who are old enough to know better!
It's a collection of comedies and dramas about love, life, loss, limits and larceny from the viewpoint of folks over 60, about folks over 60, acted and directed by folks over 60. The plays are:
- A FASHIONABLE FUNERAL by Bette Siler (71): A comedy that explores aging, death and how to avoid a bad hair day in your casket.
- THE BEAUTY OF NUMBERS by Keith Whalen (63): A bookkeeper discovers something wrong in the books, and her boss has to decide whether the problem is with the numbers or with the bookkeeper.
- LOVE AT FIRST REWRITE by Carol Mark (64): A theater critic is unimpressed by a play but becomes increasingly impressed by the playwright.
- WHOSE KEYS ARE THEY ANYWAY by Ed Friedman (75): Old tensions resurface as siblings find themselves at odds over their father’s quality of life.
- VERBATIM by Albi Gorn (77): A bickering couple decides to hire a stenographer to make a transcript of their next fight so they can hold each other to what they say.
Dangerous at Any Age features Bette Siler, Misti Tindaglia, Albi Gorn, Roberta Robinson, Carol Mark, Maggie Kramer, and Ed Friedman.
