A panel of local published authors — Richard Finn, Ed Perratore, and Samantha Talbot — will share stories and advice on navigating and managing the byzantine, confusing, frustrating, and intimidating publishing industry to successfully get your book out to the public.
Presentation topics will include submitting manuscripts, finding an agent, self-publishing, and marketing and self-promotion, plus a Q&A at the end.
Free and open to all! No registration required.
Presenter bios:
- Born and raised in White Plains, Richard Finn combined his sports journalism background with his passion for suspense and thriller stories in his exciting debut novel, Hildy’s Promise: A Crime Thriller.
- Ed Perratore spent most of his career in magazines but has since written and published three books: the horror novels Hindred Spirits and The Coven Tree (a third novel is on the way) and the nonfiction work One Man's Journey: A Walk on the Croton Aqueduct Trail.
- Samantha (Sam) Talbot is a freelance medical editor; an avid birder; a fan of all things weird and morbid; a two-wheel traveler; and the author of the dark historical fantasy, A Thunderbolt Into Nettle.
