Kofi and Sankofa Ensemble will introduce the audience to the sights and sounds of Africa, focusing on West Africa.
Sankofa will perform seven rhythms that are regularly played and danced to in various festivals relating to harvest, the call to the ancestors, coming-of-age ceremonies, and more.
There will be audience participation, plus a Q&A at the end of the performance!
